Intrinsic Talent presents
The Fire Circle Walk
A day for tech professionals in transition.
A half day walking event for technology professionals navigating a career transition. Take the day for yourself to meet other like-minded individuals going through the same thing. A chance to connect, side by side, in nature. A more natural way to “network”.

About the Walk
Walking side by side changes the conversation.
There's something about moving through open space together that unlocks a different kind of honesty. Side by side, you're not performing - you're thinking out loud. The Fire Circle Walk creates those conditions deliberately: led conversations at natural stopping points, space to be heard, and a format that's as far from a networking event as you can get.

These walks are for technology professionals who are actively looking for their next role. Groups are intentionally small, up to 14 people per walk. The only thing we ask is a £5 charity donation, which goes to our partner Talk Club. This is sent out once your place is confirmed.

What to Expect
What will the day look like?
Every session is slightly different, but here's what it could look like. Times shift with the group and the weather; what stays is the shape of the day.
10:00
Arrive & Settle
We’ll start the day with a breath to slow down and ease into our setting. Introduce ourselves and get ready for the day ahead.
10:30
Walk
First leg in pairs. Set the tone, find your stride. Side-by-side conversation in the open.
11:30
Stop & Reflect
Stop, reflect, and talk through what we’ve noticed so far. If the weather and logistics allow, we may stop at a coffee shop along the way.
12:00
Walk
Second leg as a group. Different pairings, deeper conversations, a change of pace.
13:00
Close
A fireside reflection to end the day, weather and setting permitting. If a fire isn’t possible, we’ll find an indoor or natural spot that works. Space to share final thoughts and swap details before heading off.
