A half day walking event for technology professionals navigating a career transition. Take the day for yourself to meet other like-minded individuals going through the same thing. A chance to connect, side by side, in nature. A more natural way to “network”.
About the Walk
Walking side by side changes the conversation.
There's something about moving through open space together that unlocks a different kind of honesty. Side by side, you're not performing - you're thinking out loud. The Fire Circle Walk creates those conditions deliberately: led conversations at natural stopping points, space to be heard, and a format that's as far from a networking event as you can get.
These walks are for technology professionals who are actively looking for their next role. Groups are intentionally small. The only thing we ask for is a £5 donation, which goes to our charity partner Talk Club. This is sent out once a place is confirmed.

What will the day look like?
Every session is slightly different, but here's what it could look like. Times shift with the group and the weather; what stays is the shape of the day.

Coffee in hand, gentle introductions at the start point.

First leg in pairs — set the tone, find your stride.

A shared stop. Reflection, conversation, no agenda.

Second leg, group walk. Different conversations, deeper ones.
